During a Rhine cruise on the A-ROSA ALEA, however, there are also sections of the Main and Moselle to discover, each with its own unique character. On shore excursions, you can stroll through cities such as Amsterdam, Cologne, Frankfurt am Main, Strasbourg, Basel or Antwerp and their surroundings.

A-ROSA offers a vast variety of shore excursions with every itinerary and these are clustered based on the interest of our guests - e.g. Adventure tours, Discovery, Gourmet, Bike etc. Shore excursions are optional and can be booked on board.
Guests can have a look and browse the shore excursion offer prior to come on board and can then make their bookings with the Cruise Manager on board.

A-ROSA have a very generous family programme where children up to 15 years old travel free of charge, and there is a kid's club during the school holidays.
The A-ROSA Kids Club
The A-ROSA child and youth care does not let boredom arise.
Delicious favourite dishes, family tables and special surprises await you on all rivers. On board, an experienced host takes care of the youngest. The offer for the Kids Club takes place on selected family ships.
For children, our cruise ships are like a giant floating playground. Ship voyages are adventures, and those adventures are best experienced with our Kids Club – together with other children, experienced children´s entertainer and lots of activities, such as ship treasure hunts, a pirate day or a creative atelier. Parents can relax with a clear conscience, in our spa for example, while their kids experience all manners of adventures. And in the evening everyone will find their favourite dish at the buffet even your little gourmets with our special kid’s menus.

Smoking Policy
Smoking is only permitted on the exterior decks. It is strictly forbidden to throw any cigarette butts overboard, instead please use the receptacles provided. Smoking is strictly forbidden in the interior of the ship, in the cabins and on the balconies. Please note that smoking is forbidden in the locks.
Guests with disabilities or limited mobility
The ship has steps only, which may restrict mobility. The A-ROSA ALVA has a lift between deck 1 and deck 3. The A-ROSA SENA has a lift between deck 1 and deck 4. It is not allowed to use the lift during safety instruction and in case of emergencies. The sun deck is only accessible via stairs. For individual advice, please contact the A-ROSA Service Center on tel. 0381-202 6001.Housekeeping
Your cabin will be cleaned every other day betwenn 8:00 and 15:00. If you wish to sleep in, please use the “Please do not disturb” sign provided. For suite guests, housekeeping services are available up to twice a day upon request. For further requests please contact reception.Internet
Guests can access the Internet using Wi-Fi on board the A-ROSA ships. Please take into account that some legs of the cruise may have weaker connections to the Internet. You can get more information on availability, terms of usage and charges at Reception. Use of Internet connections under the valid terms of usage is free of charge for guests with the “Premium All-Inclusive” rate.
Laundry
You can have your laundry done on board. This will be charged to your onboard account. Suite guests may enjoy the laundry service free of charge.

Feel free to dress as you like, comfortably and casually, on board and during shore excursions. Please remember to wear warmer clothing on deck in the evening. Firm shoes are recommended for excursions on land. Smart-casual clothing is recommended when visiting the restaurant on board. We request,however, that you do not wear swimwear or sportswear, nor go barefoot, in the restaurants and bars.
