MS Infinity

Exploring the Galápagos Islands on board the Infinity yacht is a fantastic choice for a luxury small-ship cruise in the Galápagos Islands. Catering to just 20 guests in 10 modern cabins, the Infinity offers stylish and elegant living spaces. Each of the 8 staterooms and 2 suites have a private balcony, AC, en-suite bathroom, and ample storage space. On the main deck are the lounge, dining, and bar areas with panoramic windows offering stunning views of the Galápagos Islands. The top deck is the perfect place to relax in-between island visits on the loungers. From penguins and flamingos sharing the same beach, ancient tortoises and iguanas that swim, colorful birdlife that forgot how to fly, and the diverse marine world teeming with life, these dramatic volcanic islands truly are "a laboratory of evolution." Delve into this unique world with the MS Infinity' crew and expert Naturalist, who share their passion for nature and conservation of this mysterious part of the world. Your Galápagos cruise includes Naturalist-guided shore excursions, lectures, and exploration of the marine reserve by strolling, hiking, and snorkeling. At day's end, you'll return to the relaxed luxury of your ship and maybe unwind in the hot tub at the end of the day. Please note: For the few rivers (and seas) not sailed by Avalon Suite Ships®, we carefully select only the best ships that meet our high standard of excellence in quality, comfort, and amenities. Avalon personally selected the MS Infinity to deliver the exceptional experience cruisers have come to expect from Avalon Waterways. Note: The Galápagos itinerary varies from your standard river cruises as the itinerary is expedition-like in nature and includes sailing in open-water, around remote islands focusing on wildlife viewing in isolated ecosystems.

Useful Information

Special Dietary Requirements

We know that some travelers may have specific dietary requests. Unfortunately, dietary requirements cannot be guaranteed on our vacations. We make our best effort to accommodate your requests, but our vessels, as well as hotels and restaurants, may not be able to manage specific diet requirements. Dietary requirements should be advised at time of booking and we ask that you also discuss these with your Hotel Manager upon embarkation.

Dress Code

Dress aboard and on shore is casual. Please bring comfortable walking shoes for sightseeing. Dinner attire is casual—open-neck shirts, slacks, dresses. The Captain's Welcome and Farewell Dinners are dressy, but not formal- please note that ties for gentlemen are not recommended due to the warm humid climate.

Age Restrictions

In our many years of cruising experience, we have found that children under the age of eight typically are too young to fully enjoy a cruise vacation. Because of this and for the safety and enjoyment of all passengers, we do not accept children under eight years of age. In addition, please note that there are no special arrangements or activities for children on our ships.

Smoking Policy

All ships have non-smoking interiors. Smoking is permitted only in a designated outdoor area of each ship.

Accessibility

Avalon Waterways makes reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of disabled and mobility impaired travellers but is not responsible in the event it is unable to do so. Because we cannot provide individual assistance to travellers in many situations, and most of our transportation services are not equipped with wheelchair ramps, we recommend that you view our terms and conditions for details and contact us to learn more.

Sustainable Travel

Avalon is committed to minimizing its impact on the environment and to reducing its dependence on non-renewable resources. In this endeavor, we have implemented policies to support this mission and are working carefully to enhance our products with this mission and our values combined. We are committed to complying with all relevant legislation and/or regulations.

Avalon maintains a policy of "Leave Only Footprints and Take Only Photos." Our staff and major service providers strive to ensure that no removal of any natural or cultural artifacts or materials occurs to ensure each environment looks and functions the same before and after our visit. Our cruise directors educate passengers on our "do no harm" code of conduct to ensure passenger compliance.
